Navajo Blanket inspired Bag

Navajo Blanket inspired bag – Hand dyed and hand painted canvas with black triangle stitching, a very sturdy yet beautiful tote bag. Canvas is 16 oz weight dyed rose with edges left undyed for a ‘stained’ effect. One side has black and rust orange triangle screenprint with embroidery, the other has black, rust orange, brown and metallic gold triangle screenprint with black thread thread stitching. Lined in a cream charmeuse twill blend with a lovely soft hand and silkscreened with our label in Japanese. The straps are also lined in the same silkscreened charmeuse twill fabric. Large & roomy, perfect for stuffing blankets, records, a picnic in a bag.

Graphic Fonts Recycled Suede Letters & Canvas Bags are made from medium weight 12 oz canvas and suede I repurposed from vintage stores and flea market finds.

VERT Graphic Fonts Recycled Suede & Canvas Bag: VERT bag has with four outside canvas pockets, two on either side to hold 7″s, paperbacks, notebooks, or drumsticks. It measures 12 and 1/2″ W x 13 and 1/2″ H with 25″ straps and is lined in a black tea-dyed tan muslim. Unfortunately my beloved German Measles O.K. pin is not included.

ROI Graphic Fonts Recycled Suede & Canvas Bag: ROI bag has with six outside canvas pockets, three on either side to hold notepads, books, pens or drumsticks. It measures 14″ W x 13 and 1/2″ H with 25″ straps and is lined in an adorable red cotton print sprinkled with tiny white hearts.

This bag came out of hours of listening to Joy Division’s Amsterdam LP recorded live at the Paradiso club in Amsterdam in January of 1980. The needle of our record player did not go up on this LP while this bag was being sewn, and the colors of the music show through in the colors of the bag. You can hear how young, raw yet already tinged with desperation they were as a band. Limited editions in blue, pink or turquoise green vinyl. We were lucky enough to score the beautiful green marbled vinyl and with an amazing cover. Only 238 were pressed in this colour.
